Istoso is an heterozygous, Flea-bit Gray (produces bay), he has 3 Great Dressage Gaits, Size and a Very Sweet Personality. His pedigree is 70% Andrade and 30% Veiga. Istoso passes on a great back even to mares with poor conformation, which is one of the fundamental quality required of a riding horse.

He is 21 in 2011 and works everyday at educating the students of Equus Academy. His daughter JP Adonia (out of Sultana) has proven to be Baroque Farms USA’s most important broodmare (after her mother Sultana). She has produced JP Fabio Star (mother of JP Zhivago), JP Orion (by Hipogrifo, JP’s dressage star), JP Adonis (by Lusiadas,in training in Canada as a dressage horse), JP Zafer (by Fabuloso, in training at Baroque farms, a spectacular mover), JP Zorro (by hipogrifo, in training at Baroque Farms, very promising), JP Zorba (by Lusiadas, still in the pasture, but likely to be a future stallion), JP Zja Zja (by Lusiadas, a future broodmare with remarkable gaits and temperament) and her exuberant last foal JP Zexy (by JP Zatopec).
